Val Hazaak

Vaal Hazak is an Elder Dragon that dwells deep within the Rotten Vale in Monster Hunter World, feeding upon the corpses and effluvium that fill the valley. Its body is covered in decaying tissue and the remains of other creatures, giving it a uniquely grotesque appearance. The Blackveil variant encountered in Iceborne is even more dangerous, surrounded by dense spores and clouds of deadly effluvium.
