The first Old Hunters were warriors who answered the call of the Healing Church to slay beasts born of blood ministration. Led by figures like Gehrman and Ludwig, they forged the Hunt itself. Yet their endless slaughter consumed them, and many fell into the Nightmare, cursed to wander eternally in bloodlust.
